Acer unveils Iconia W700 Tablet Windows 8



Acer has unveiled its new tablet Iconia W700 will be launched on October 26






Acer unveiled its first Windows 8 tablet, the Iconia W700. It will be officially launched on 26 October, the same time as Windows 8

The company has decided to keep the name Iconia, although the range was previously based on Android.

The device will measure 11.6 inches, IPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1080 pixels and a Bluetooth keyboard

The processor is an Intel Ivy Bridge Core i3 or i5, and you also get 3 USB ports and an HDMI / VGA

The imagery will be supported by a 5 megapixel primary camera 1080p video capture and autofocus and a secondary camera 1 megapixel / 720p

According to Engadget, the external frame, brushed aluminum will be about 12 mm thick, with a microHDMI port. There would also be a physical button on the locking surface of the tablet

The device will be available in three versions:

- I3 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage - $ 800
- I5 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage - $ 900
- I3 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage - $ 1000

We do not yet know the prices in Euros, and we know also if Acer plans to launch the tablet outside the United States.
